I have waaaaay too many blogs but that's not stopping me from trying out another one. Especially since it's here, anyway.
So hello everybody.
I've been getting quite a few random people adding me on MyTIG or MSN from here. I just had a "conversation" with one:
Him: Hello
Him: I am from Pakistan
Me: Where did you find me?
Him: from TIG, I am a member
Me: I see. Hello.
Him: You are Bangali
Me: By race
Him: Ok
Him: What are your activities?
[I got stumped a bit here. Right now I'm just waiing for a few things to happen. While thinking of my answer...]
Him: Are you busy?
Me: [pressed 'enter' at the same time] Right now writing stuff online. [which is my current "activity"; I maintain a blog on alternative education. But I wasn't doing it RIGHT NOW.]
Him: Ok will talk to you later
Him: Bye
Me: [um...] Bye [???]
haha.
I do wish people would be slightly more descriptive about why they write to me or add me sometimes! Not just TIG either, I get plenty of these just being on Friendster/MySpace/Hi5, but on TIG it tends to be slightly more confusing - especially since rarely do we talk about anything to do with "taking IT global".
At least on LiveJournal, when most people add me, they write something a lot more coherant!
Perhaps I am prejudiced to some degree. But I'm starting to wonder if some of the people that find me through here have some sort of "ulterior motive". Or at least a motive that is not "let's make the world a better place".
and I've never heard from a fellow female in this place, that's odd.
Hmm. Anyway.
While I'm rambling my head off here...perhaps I can ask a question.
Any of you know any good resources for starting a youth center?
take care y'all,
B*B, Tiara
